The Campaign for an American Solution is a grassroots effort whose mission is to build support for workable health care reform.  The Campaign recently conducted a national listening tour in which health plans and Americans from all walks of life had candid, transparent discussions about how we can work together to improve health care.

The listening tour came to Columbus, Detroit, Salt Lake City, Albuquerque, Providence, Little Rock and the Democrat and Republican national conventions.  These conversations allowed the Campaign to hear directly from Americans and informed our discussions that resulted in new policy proposals.

The Campaign is now working to engage all Americans to support our policy proposals for health care reform.  These proposals would:

• Build on the current employer-based system;
• Make common-sense changes to reduce health care costs;
• Strengthen the health care safety net;
• Provide a helping hand for working families and small businesses;
• Guarantee coverage for everyone; and
• Improve the quality and value of medical care.

We are asking Americans who support the Campaign's reform proposals to join us. We are reaching out to all Americans who want to build on the strengths of the current system, reduce costs, get every American covered, and improve value throughout our health care system.

The Campaign for an American Solution will ensure that when elected officials address this issue they are hearing directly from those with the most at stake in this debate: the American people.
